IRCAD to expand into 74,305 square feet of space in Charlotte North Carolina.
Charlotte, North Carolina — According to state and local development sources, IRCAD plans to build out 74,305 square feet of new space in Charlotte. The company plans to occupy the new space at 905 Baxter St. in Charlotte, on or about April 1, 2025. According to the company website Founded by Professor Jacques Marescaux and his team, IRCAD is a one-of-a-kind research and training institute located within the University Hospital of Strasbourg in France. Providing cutting-edge training in minimally invasive surgical techniques to surgeons globally, IRCAD offers on-site and remote training through online masterclasses and its virtual university, WebSurg. In addition, IRCAD is the world’s largest training center for robotic surgery, along with comprehensive laparoscopic training. Research is a top priority at IRCAD, as evidenced by its extensive publication record in the field of surgery.
