Kentucky Blood Center to expand into 4,779 square feet of space in Louisville Kentucky.
Louisville, Kentucky — According to state and local development sources, Kentucky Blood Center plans to build out 4,779 square feet of new space in Louisville. The company plans to occupy the new space at 14002 Shelbyville Rd in Louisville, on or about June 1, 2024. According to the company website Kentucky Blood Center (KBC) is a community based non-profit organization that provides life-saving blood products to over 70 hospitals throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky. We strive to ensure that every hospital we serve has access to a safe and abundant blood supply. To do so, we rely on generous volunteer blood donors to provide 400 pints of blood every day to meet patient needs. We envision to be an integral and valued part in healthcare and to support our local communities in any way we can by constantly innovating, developing and changing to improve the blood center in the best way we can. We value: Mutual respect. Innovation. Results! High performance should be recognized and rewarded. Doing the right thing. We are able to save lives only through the generous donations of our donors. Donate blood at one of our six-donor centers or a blood drive near you.
