Milpitas, California — According to state and local economic development sources Kyocera plans to build out 9,191 square feet of new space in Milpitas. The company plans to occupy the new space at 1450 McCarthy Blvd in Milpitas, on or about July 1, 2023. According to the company website Kyocera Corporation, the headquarters and parent company of the global Kyocera group, was founded in 1959 in Kyoto, Japan as a start-up venture by Dr. Kazuo Inamori and seven colleagues. Kyoceras founders shared a vision of creating a company dedicated to the successful manufacture and sale of innovative, high-quality products based on advanced materials and components.
