Anna, Texas — According to state and local economic development sources Lamar National Bank plans to invest $2,250,000.00 to build out 4,360 square feet of new space in Anna. The company plans to occupy the new space at 1515 W. White Street in Anna, on or about November 1, 2022. According to the company website Nine local businessmen joined together in 1980 to meet the financial needs of the local community and formed the 4th bank in Paris, TX. By January 1981, Lamar County National Bank received their new name and established a management team in 1984. Lamar National Bank continues to grow through the years dedicated to strengthening the communities we serve. By the 1990s, Lamar branched out to provide another convenient location in Lamar County to Reno, TX. Today Lamar National Bank is extending its services to the Celina community in Collin County.
