Laredo, Texas — According to state and local development sources, Laredo Medical Center plans to invest $11,100,000.00 to build out 11,000 square feet of new space in Laredo. The company plans to occupy the new space at 4019 Cuatro Vientos Road in Laredo, on or about June 1, 2026. According to the company website Laredo Medical Center is your community healthcare provider; a 326-bed, acute care facility with over 49 specialties and subspecialties, including cardiology, oncology, neurology, obstetrics, orthopedics, urology, wound care, emergency medicine, bariatrics and skilled nursing. Laredo Medical Centers quality of care has been recognized by respected agencies and national accrediting bodies. In 2018, LMC earned Advanced Certification as a Primary Stroke Center by The Joint Commission, and it received the designation as a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care service provider from the Texas Department of State Health Services. Additionally, LMC is Chest Pain Accredited Cycle V with PCI from the American College of Cardiology and is accredited as an MBSAQIP for its Bariatric Program, the first hospital in Laredo to achieve the Center for Excellence designation for this program. The hospital also is home to the largest Emergency Center in the community with an Advanced Level III Trauma Designation.
