Houston, Texas — According to state and local economic development sources Lone Star College plans to invest $9,759,252.00 to build out 19,000 square feet of new space in Houston. The company plans to occupy the new space at 4141 Victory Center Drive in Houston, on or about November 1, 2023. According to the company website Lone Star College offers high-quality, low-cost academic transfer and career training education to 93,000+ students each semester. LSC is training tomorrows workforce today and redefining the community college experience to support student success. Stephen C. Head, Ph.D., serves as chancellor of LSC, the largest institution of higher education in the Houston area with an annual economic impact of nearly $3 billion. Lone Star College consists of seven colleges, eight centers, eight Workforce Centers of Excellence, Lone Star Corporate College and LSC-Online.
