Miami County Partners for Animal Welfare to spend $7 Million to occupy 13,000 square feet of space in Troy Ohio.
Troy, Ohio — According to state and local development sources, Miami County Partners for Animal Welfare plans to invest $7 Million to build out 13,000 square feet of new space in Troy. The company plans to occupy the new space in Troy, on or about October 1, 2026. According to the company website MCPAW (Miami County Partners for Animal Welfare) is an Ohio 501(c)3 nonprofit founded and run by community members from throughout Miami County. Our current capital campaign is directed toward raising funds to build a new, no-kill animal shelter with expanded capacity to meet the needs of companion animals and community members. Built in 1971, the Miami County Animal Shelter has since become dilapidated and insufficient for its intended functions. Expansion is needed to meet the current needs of Miami County companion animals and ensure the ongoing safety of the staff, community volunteers, and visitors who care for them. With your support, we can make this vision of a new and improved Miami County Animal Shelter a reality, ensuring that each and every animal receives the quality care they deserve.
