Miami University to spend $200 Million to expand in Oxford Ohio.
Oxford, Ohio — According to state and local development sources, Miami University plans to invest $200 Million to build out square feet of new space in Oxford. The company plans to occupy the new space at 501 E High St in Oxford, on or about October 1, 2028. According to the company website Strong academics, highly personal instruction, energetic campus life, successful graduates Miami University sets the standard for public higher education on one of Americas most beautiful campuses. Philosophy: Miami is a residential university with a focus on teaching undergraduates. A liberal education core complements the more specialized studies of the majors. Established: 1809; Miami’s name reflects the history of the Miami Indian Tribe that inhabited the area now known as the Miami Valley Region of Ohio. Locations: Main campus in Oxford, Ohio (35 miles north of Cincinnati); regional locations in Hamilton, Middletown, and West Chester, Ohio; European Center in Luxembourg. Enrollment: 15,208 undergraduates and 1,827 graduate students on the Oxford. Degree Programs: Miami offers the bachelor’s degree in over 100 areas of study and the master’s degree in more than 50 areas; Miami also offers a number of doctoral degrees. Several associate’s degrees as well as bachelor’s degrees are offered through study at the regional locations.
