Hewitt, Texas — According to state and local economic development sources Midway Independent School District plans to invest $4,500,000.00 to build out 32,710 square feet of new space in Hewitt. The company plans to occupy the new space at 109 Panther Way in Hewitt, on or about March 1, 2022. According to the company website Welcome to Midway, a public school district serving multiple municipalities in the Central Texas area including Hewitt, Woodway, and parts of Waco, McGregor, Robinson, Lorena, and unincorporated McLennan County (Speegleville).
