Wichita Falls, Texas — According to state and local economic development sources Midwestern State University plans to invest $4,200,000.00 to build out 29,960 square feet of new space in Wichita Falls. The company plans to occupy the new space at 3410 Taft Blvd. in Wichita Falls, on or about September 1, 2021. According to the company website Established in 1922 and located in Wichita Falls, Texas, MSU has a 255-acre campus is nestled among the city’s residential area, and comprises 70 buildings, numerous playing fields, and an outdoor recreational facility near Sikes Lake. MSU is one of 36 public institutions of higher education in Texas. It is the only university in Texas to become a member of the Council of Public Liberal Arts Colleges (COPLAC), and offers U.S. non-Texas residents a special tuition rate. The university was recently recognized U.S. News and World Report’s list of “10 Public Schools with the Cheapest Out-of-State Tuition.”
