The company is creating 150 new jobs at this facility. The company plans to occupy the new space in Muskegon, on or about October 1, 2025. According to the company website Mitra Chem is the first lithium-ion battery materials manufacturer focused on shortening the lab-to-production timeline by over 90%, addressing the largest barrier to innovation: R&D and scale-up speed.
