Oakland, California — According to state and local economic development sources Native American Health Center plans to invest $1,970,000.00 to build out 14,072 square feet of new space in Oakland. The company plans to occupy the new space at 3050 International Blvd in Oakland, on or about August 1, 2023. According to the company website The Native American Health Center is a non profit organization serving the California Bay Area Native Population and other under-served populations in the Bay Area. 2017 marked NAHCs 45th anniversary; as an organization, we have been serving our community since 1972. NAHC has worked at local, state, and federal levels to deliver resources and services for the urban Native community, including medical, dental, behavioral health, diabetes, obesity, substance abuse prevention, HIV/HCV care coordination and prevention. Native American Health Centers mission is to provide comprehensive services to improve the health and well-being of American Indians, Alaska Natives, and residents of the surrounding communities, with respect for cultural and linguistic differences.
