South San Francisco, California — According to state and local economic development sources Nobell Foods plans to build out 66,234 square feet of new space in South San Francisco. The company plans to occupy the new space at 700 Gateway Blvd. in South San Francisco, on or about September 1, 2022. According to the company website Nobell Foods is creating cheese and other dairy products from plant-derived dairy proteins for the 99% of people who are unwilling to compromise on taste and price. Worldwide dairy production accounts for 40% of global livestock emissions. In the US, the dairy industry is responsible for 2% of the nations greenhouse gas emissions. And a growing chunk of that dairy consumption is coming from cheese.
