Odem, Texas — According to state and local development sources, Odem-Edroy Independent School District plans to invest $12,500,000.00 to build out 26,740 square feet of new space in Odem. The company plans to occupy the new space at One Owl Square in Odem, on or about May 1, 2026. According to the company website The Odem-Edroy ISD (OEISD) is located in San Patricio County in South Texas approximately seven miles northwest of Corpus Christi on U.S. Highway 77, and has a combined population of 4,869. OEISD is a petroleum producing and agricultural area. Agricultural products include cotton, grain sorghum, corn, beef, and cattle. Included in the District is the City of Odem, a retail center located on U.S. Highway 77. The residents of Odem/Edroy enjoy a small-town atmosphere and friendliness while being within seven miles of Corpus Christi where all water activities are available and many cultural events are celebrated throughout the year. Corpus Christi is the home of the Texas State Aquarium and The Lady Lex.
