Orange Park, Florida — According to state and local economic development sources Orange Park Medical Center plans to invest $126,000,000.00 to build out 161,435 square feet of new space in Orange Park. The company plans to occupy the new space at 2001 Kingsley Ave in Orange Park, on or about May 1, 2021. According to the company website Orange Park Medical Center has been serving residents of Clay, Duval, St. Johns, Baker, and Bradford counties since it opened in 1974. We are a full-service, acute-care hospital with 317 inpatient beds located in the heart of Orange Park, providing medical care to Clay County and surrounding communities. The hospital has 170 private rooms. There are nine labor, delivery and recovery room suites for new mothers and a seven-bed, Level-2 neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) for premature babies and those born with special needs. There is also a 24-bed psychiatric unit, 20-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit and 20 intensive care unit (ICU) beds.
