Washington, DC — According to state and local economic development sources Pepco plans to invest $6,977,400.00 to build out 22,450 square feet of new space in Washington. The company plans to occupy the new space at 3400 Benning Rd NE in Washington, on or about August 1, 2021. According to the company website Pepco Holdings (PHI), a subsidiary of Exelon Corporation, is one of the largest energy delivery companies in the Mid-Atlantic region, serving more than 2 million customers in Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland and New Jersey. PHI subsidiaries Pepco, Delmarva Power and Atlantic City Electric provide regulated electricity service; Delmarva Power also provides natural gas service.
