ProKids to spend $1,800,000.00 to expand into new space in Cincinnati Ohio.
Cincinnati, Ohio — According to state and local development sources, ProKids plans to invest $1,800,000.00 to build out new space in Cincinnati. The company plans to occupy the new space at 222 W 7th St in Cincinnati, on or about November 1, 2023. According to the company website ProKids vision is a safe, permanent and nurturing home for every child. For 32 years, ProKids has been advocating for abused and neglected children by mobilizing our community to break the vicious cycle of child abuse and neglect. We recruit, train, and support community volunteers to speak up for children who have been abused and neglected, and help guide them into safe environments where they can thrive. The heart of this effort is our CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) volunteers. Each CASA volunteer is assigned to a foster child making sure the child is safe, that the child’s needs are being met, and helping each child move into a safe, permanent and nurturing home as quickly as possible. For more than a decade, 99% of children represented by ProKids were free from abuse while in the foster care system.
