Rockwall, Texas — According to state and local development sources, Rayburn Electric Cooperative plans to invest $30,000,000.00 to build out 53,000 square feet of new space in Rockwall. The company plans to occupy the new space at 950 Sids Rd. in Rockwall, on or about December 1, 2024. According to the company website Generation and Transmission Electrical Cooperative providing electricity services to four Distribution Cooperatives in the area north and east of the Dallas metroplex. We provide wholesale electrical power through Power Purchase Agreements (PPA), purchases of blocks of electricity on the open market, and through our ownership interest in the Freestone generating facility in Freestone County, Texas.
