Shepherdsville, Kentucky — According to state and local development sources, Rivian plans to invest $10,000,000.00 to build out 326,000 square feet of new space in Shepherdsville. The company plans to occupy the new space at 687 Conestoga Pkwy in Shepherdsville, on or about March 1, 2024. According to the company website Rivian has developed and vertically integrated a connected electric platform that can be flexibly applied to a range of applications, including the companys adventure products as well as B2B products such as our last mile delivery vans. The companys launch products, the R1T and R1S, provide an unmatched combination of performance, off-road capability and utility. These vehicles will be produced at Rivians manufacturing plant in Normal, Ill., with customer deliveries expected to begin in fall 2021.
