San Antonio, Texas — According to state and local development sources, Rivian plans to invest $1,924,524.00 to build out 22,719 square feet of new space in San Antonio. The company plans to occupy the new space at 8790 Crownhill Blvd in San Antonio, on or about September 1, 2024. According to the company website Rivian has developed and vertically integrated a connected electric platform that can be flexibly applied to a range of applications, including the company’s adventure products as well as B2B products such as our last mile delivery vans. The companys launch products, the R1T and R1S, provide an unmatched combination of performance, off-road capability and utility. These vehicles will be produced at Rivians manufacturing plant in Normal, Ill., with customer deliveries expected to begin in fall 2021.
