Manitowoc, Wisconsin — According to state and local economic development sources Robinson Metal plans to invest $2,600,000.00 to build out new space in Manitowoc. The company is creating 94 new jobs at this facility. The company plans to occupy the new space at in Manitowoc, on or about February 1, 2020. Beginning with Al Robinson’s initial business venture in 1923 and continuing through the rest of the 20th century under the leadership of Al’s sons, Maurie and Tom, Robinson Metal has earned a reputation as a trusted partner for a wide range of customers. Today’s Robinson Metal, Inc. is a single-source metal fabrication supplier employing more than 395 people at facilities in De Pere and Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Our six divisions include: Fabrication & Machine; Pipe & Vessel; Robinson Custom Enclosures; Robinson Heating & Cooling; and Product Handling Concepts and Gas Trailer. Our primary campus in De Pere features a custom-designed, climate-controlled, 185,000-square-foot modern production facility and 35,000 clean assembly area. Our production facility in Manitowoc features 112,000 square feet.
