Temple, Texas — According to state and local economic development sources Rowan Green Data plans to invest $300,000,000.00 to build out 133,274 square feet of new space in Temple. The company plans to occupy the new space at 2810 Bob White Road in Temple, on or about March 1, 2023. According to the company website Project Rowan is a Joint Venture between Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners and Birch Infrastructure, designed to deliver low cost net zero solutions to green data center’s located on Rowan sites. Rowans scope of services include land acquisition, renewable power supply and other infrastructure and utilities. The joint venture has identified and is actively developing multiple, strategically-located sites across the US to host next-generation, mission critical, hyperscale data centers powered by renewables. Rowan aims to design and configure each site to deliver sustained and long-term competitive land and power cost advantages, provide low-cost renewable power supply and assist hyperscale data center operators in meeting their accelerating carbon reduction and net zero targets.
