San Antonio, Texas — According to state and local development sources, San Antonio Airport System plans to invest $35,200,000.00 to build out 37,451 square feet of new space in San Antonio. The company plans to occupy the new space at 1409 Northern Blvd. in San Antonio, on or about October 1, 2025. According to the company website Located just 15 minutes north of downtown, San Antonio International Airport (SAT) offers competitive nonstop service to 45 destinations across 13 airlines. The newest airlines at SAT include Spirit Airlines and Condor Airlines. The largest airline operating at SAT is Southwest Airlines which was founded right here in San Antonio. SAT is currently building for the future to provide our growing region the airport it needs. In 2022, three additional gates were added to the existing terminals and a future new terminal will be completed by mid-2028, as well as additional parking garages and airfield improvements.
