Seattle, Washington — According to state and local economic development sources Seattle Public Schools plans to invest $100,000,000.00 to build out new space in Seattle. The company plans to occupy the new space at 1600 S Columbian Way in Seattle, on or about October 1, 2024. According to the company website Seattle Public Schools is the largest K-12 school system in Washington state, serving more than 54,000 students in 103 schools with a growing enrollment. We have a staff of about 8,000 which includes about 3,600 teachers. We are focused on improving academic achievement for all students and committed to ensuring that all students graduate from high school prepared for college, careers, and life. We strive to provide excellent teachers in every classroom, set high expectations for every student, meet the needs of our diverse learners, and prepare our students to excel.
