Dallas, Texas — According to state and local development sources, SPCA of Texas plans to invest $30 Million to build out 41,000 square feet of new space in Dallas. The company plans to occupy the new space at 2400 Lone Star Drive in Dallas, on or about June 1, 2026. According to the company website The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals of Texas (SPCA of Texas) is the leading animal welfare agency in North Texas with two shelters and two spay/neuter clinics located in Dallas and Ellis Counties and serves as an active resource center providing an array of programs and services that bring people and animals together to enrich each others lives. A comprehensive animal welfare agency, the SPCA of Texas is not affiliated with any other entity and does not receive general operating funds from the City of Dallas, State of Texas, federal government, or any other humane organization. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, dedicated to the welfare of animals and people programs.
