Reno, Nevada — According to state and local development sources, State of Nevada Office of the Military plans to invest $18,312,179.00 to build out 72,950 square feet of new space in Reno. The company plans to occupy the new space at 19980 Army Aviation Dr in Reno, on or about 10/1/2024. According to the company website The Nevada Guards 4,300 Soldiers and Airmen stand ready, reliable, essential and accessible to fellow Nevadans and fellow Americans for domestic and national emergencies. The Nevada Army and Air National Guard maintains a dual federal and state mission. The federal mission supports the nation with trained and ready units for deployment overseas, domestic contingencies, and — if ever required — homeland defense. The Nevada National Guard also activates during times of emergency, natural disaster or disorder in support of the state. Capabilities include, but are not limited to tactical airlift, firefighting, medevac, transportation, engineers, maintenance, medical, signal, communications, logistics, law enforcement and intelligence.
