Sugar Land, Texas — According to state and local economic development sources Sugar Land Skeeters plans to invest $3,750,000.00 to build out 31,820 square feet of new space in Sugar Land. The company plans to occupy the new space at 1 Stadium Drive 1 Stadium Drive in Sugar Land, on or about May 1, 2021. According to the company website The Sugar Land Skeeters are a Minor League Baseball team of Pacific Coast League (PCL) and the Triple-A affiliate of the Houston Astros Major League Baseball club. The Skeeters Baseball Foundation promotes youth education and healthy activities for culturally, racially and economically diverse populations in the Fort Bend county and surrounding areas.
