Michigan City, Indiana — According to state and local economic development sources Sullair plans to invest $30,000,000.00 to build out 80,000 square feet of new space in Michigan City. The company is creating 33 new jobs at this facility. The company plans to occupy the new space at 1 Sullair Way in Michigan City, on or about December 1, 2020. According to the company website Sullair was founded in Michigan City, Indiana in 1965, and has since expanded with a broad international network to serve customers in every corner of the globe. As of July 2017, Sullair became part of the Hitachi Group of Companies. For more than 50 years, Sullair has been on the leading edge of compressed air solutions.
