Tarrant County 911 District to spend $13 Million to occupy 52,600 square feet of space in Fort Worth Texas.
Fort Worth, Texas — According to state and local development sources, Tarrant County 911 District plans to invest $13,000,000.00 to build out 52,600 square feet of new space in Fort Worth. The company plans to occupy the new space at 12600 Willow Springs Road in Fort Worth, on or about August 1, 2025. According to the company website Tarrant 911 District provides 911 technology and support to 24 public safety answering points in Tarrant County & Irving. In April 1985, Tarrant County residents approved the creation of the Tarrant County 9-1-1 Emergency Assistance District, thus setting in motion the implementation of Enhanced 9-1-1 service for the county. The District is governed by a Board of Managers, comprised of two members appointed by the City of Fort Worth, one appointed by the Commissioners Court, the City of Arlington, the City of Grand Prairie, the City of Irving, and the Tarrant County Mayor’s Council. One non-voting member represents the major service supplier. The Tarrant County 9-1-1 District will continuously provide reliable, accurate, responsive, and effective emergency communication networks and services to our member jurisdictions ensuring the protection of life and property for citizens in our community.
