Richmond, Texas — According to state and local economic development sources Tesla plans to invest $11,500,000.00 to build out 87,228 square feet of new space in Richmond. The company plans to occupy the new space at 21555 Southwest Freeway in Richmond, on or about December 1, 2022. According to the company website Teslas mission is to accelerate the worlds transition to sustainable energy through increasingly affordable electric vehicles in addition to renewable energy generation and storage.
