Rosenberg, Texas — According to state and local economic development sources Texana Center plans to invest $2,020,000.00 to build out 18,599 square feet of new space in Rosenberg. The company plans to occupy the new space at 4910 Airport Avenue in Rosenberg, on or about January 1, 2022. According to the company website Texana Center is a 501(c)3 public, not for profit, organization that provides behavioral healthcare and developmental disabilities services to residents of a six county area that includes Austin, Colorado, Fort Bend, Matagorda, Waller and Wharton Counties. Texana serves over 16,000 annually in its array of service programs that are located in each of the six counties, covering about 6,000 square miles. The center is designated by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission as the Local Intellectual and Development Disability Authority (LIDDA) and the Local Mental Health Authority.
