Richardson, Texas — According to state and local economic development sources Texas Instruments plans to invest $3.1 Billion to build out new space in Richardson. The company plans to occupy the new space on or about October 1, 2021. According to the company website Texas Instruments (TI) is a global analog and digital semiconductor IC design and manufacturing company. In addition to analog technologies, digital signal processing (DSP) and microcontroller (MCU) semiconductors, TI designs and manufactures semiconductor solutions for analog and digital embedded, application processing, and Education Technology.
