Austin, Texas — According to state and local economic development sources Texas Reliability Entity plans to invest $2,300,000.00 to build out 29,000 square feet of new space in Austin. The company plans to occupy the new space at 8000 Metropolis Dr Building A, Suite 100 in Austin, on or about April 1, 2022. According to the company website Texas Reliability Entity, Inc. (Texas RE) is a Texas 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that is the Regional Entity for the area of Texas served by the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT). Through a Delegation Agreement with the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC), which is approved by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). Our mission is to assure effective and efficient reduction of risks to the reliability and security of the bulk power system within the ERCOT Interconnection.
