Dallas, Texas — According to state and local economic development sources Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children plans to invest $30,500,000.00 to build out 54,080 square feet of new space in Dallas. The company plans to occupy the new space at 2222 Welborn Street in Dallas, on or about January 1, 2024. According to the company website Scottish Rite for Children is one of the nation’s leading pediatric centers for the treatment of orthopedic conditions, such as sports injuries and fractures, scoliosis, hip disorders, clubfoot, hand disorders and limb length discrepancies, as well as certain related arthritic and neurological disorders and learning disorders, such as dyslexia. Admission is open to children from birth up to 18 years of age. Patients receive treatment regardless of the family’s ability to pay. We strive to improve the care of children worldwide through innovative research and teaching programs, training physicians from around the world. We hold 25 patents and discovered the first gene associated with scoliosis.
