San Marcos, Texas — According to state and local economic development sources Texas State University plans to invest $2,506,401.00 to build out 13,300 square feet of new space in San Marcos. The company plans to occupy the new space at Building N, LBJ Drive in San Marcos, on or about April 1, 2023. According to the company website Texas State University is a public, student-centered, Emerging Research University dedicated to excellence in serving the educational needs of the diverse population of Texas and the world beyond. Enrollment in fall 2017 surpassed 38,500, making Texas State the fifth largest university in the state. Texas State offers 98 bachelors, 92 masters and 13 doctoral degrees.
