Phoenix, Arizona — According to state and local economic development sources The Bureau of Land Management plans to invest $1,567,098.00 to build out 23,530 square feet of new space in Phoenix. The company plans to occupy the new space at 2020 E Bell Rd in Phoenix, on or about April 1, 2022. According to the company website The Bureau of Land Managements mission is to sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of public lands for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations. The BLM manages more land 256 million surface acres than any other Federal agency. This land, known as the National System of Public Lands, is primarily located in 12 Western states, including Alaska. The Bureau, with a budget of about $1 billion, also administers 700 million acres of sub-surface mineral estate throughout the nation. The BLMs multiple-use mission is to sustain the health and productivity of the public lands for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations. The Bureau accomplishes this by managing such activities as outdoor recreation, livestock grazing, mineral development, and energy production, and by conserving natural, historical, and cultural resources on the public lands.
