The company plans to occupy the new space at 2535 NE 28th Street in Fort Worth, on or about April 1, 2023. According to the company website In order to meet the banking needs of the residents and businesses located in the area, The National Bank of Texas opened for business in November of 1973 in the North Side of Fort Worth. Ownership of the bank has remained essentially unchanged since 1985 when the banks directors and senior officers organized Horizon Bankshares, Inc. The National Bank of Texas has maintained the same long-term vision. We are a locally owned, independent, community bank that understands the needs of the area and communities we serve.
