San Antonio, Texas — According to state and local economic development sources Toyota Motor Manufacturing Texas (TMMTX) plans to invest $12,000,000.00 to build out 19,000 square feet of new space in San Antonio. The company plans to occupy the new space at 1 Lone Star Pass in San Antonio, on or about August 1, 2020. According to the company website Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Texas, Inc. (TMMTX) is the home of the Toyota Tundra and Tacoma pickup trucks – built in the Southside of San Antonio! Our plant received the 2008 J.D. Power and Associates Silver award for Assembly Plant Quality in North and South America. This is a first-of-its-kind honor for a Toyota plant in its first year of production operation.
