According to the company website Travis Park Church is a Reconciling United Methodist Congregation in the heart of downtown San Antonio- Worship Sundays at 9:45 am – host of Corazon San Antonio for all in need. Travis Park Church is a progressive and historic Reconciling United Methodist Congregation, grounded in both history and vision. We are the oldest Protestant congregation and the only Reconciling United Methodist Congregation in San Antonio. Organized as a church in 1846, we began worshipping at this site 20 years later at the heart of downtown. We are a church that embraces the value of stories: in them we can find truth, meaning, hope and connection with God and with one another. You will not find a stagnant congregation here. You will find a diverse mix of young and old, affluent and unhoused, cisgender and transgender, highly educated and illiterate worshipping side by side as beloved Children of God. We welcome all, affirm all, and advocate justice for all.
