Palestine, Texas — According to state and local development sources, Trinity Valley Community College plans to invest $6,300,000.00 to build out 20,000 square feet of new space in Palestine. The company plans to occupy the new space at 2970 TX-19 in Palestine, on or about December 1, 2024. According to the company website Trinity Valley Community College is a learning-centered college that provides quality academic, workforce, and community service programs to meet the educational needs of our students and the citizens of our service area. TVCC consistently enrolls approximately 8,000 students in workforce and academic transfer programs. The service area consists of Henderson, Anderson, Kaufman, Rains and Van Zandt counties in Northeastern Texas, which includes a combined population of 250,000 residents. TVCC has campuses throughout the service area, including campuses in Athens, Terrell, Palestine, Kaufman, and within three prison units of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
