Tuloso-Midway Independent School District to spend $6,200,000.00 to occupy 16,999 square feet of space in Corpus Christi Texas.
Corpus Christi, Texas — According to state and local development sources, Tuloso-Midway Independent School District plans to invest $6,200,000.00 to build out 16,999 square feet of new space in Corpus Christi. The company plans to occupy the new space at 2653 Mckinzie Rd in Corpus Christi, on or about November 1, 2025. According to the company website Tuloso-Midway Independent School District traces its history to 1887, when a schoolhouse opened on an acre of donated land in the Tuloso area. Murdock, the school’s first teacher, conducted classes for nine students during a six-month term. The school building was on the south side of Up River Road, east of what is now Suntide Road. Currently, Tuloso-Midway ISD serves more than 3,600 students on five campuses: Primary, Intermediate, Middle School, High School and Academic Career Center as a year round school district.
