Tyler, Texas — According to state and local economic development sources Tyler Junior College plans to invest $9,000,000.00 to build out 87,000 square feet of new space in Tyler. The company plans to occupy the new space at 1327 S Baxter Ave in Tyler, on or about January 1, 2023. According to the company website TJC is one of the largest community colleges in Texas, with 306 full-time faculty members and 248 part-time faculty members, approximately 11,000 students enrolled per semester, and 1,011 May graduates.
