San Antonio, Texas — According to state and local economic development sources United States Secret Service plans to invest $687,000.00 to build out 9,400 square feet of new space in San Antonio. The company plans to occupy the new space at 100 NE Loop 410 Suite 1200 in San Antonio, on or about March 1, 2023. According to the company website The United States Secret Service is a federal law enforcement agency with headquarters in Washington, D. C. , and more than 150 offices throughout the United States and abroad. The Secret Service was established in 1865, solely to suppress the counterfeiting of U. S. currency. Today, the agency is mandated by Congress to carry out dual missions: protection of national and visiting foreign leaders, and criminal investigations.
