San Antonio, Texas — According to state and local development sources, UT Health San Antonio plans to invest $72,000,000.00 to build out 85,000 square feet of new space in San Antonio. The company plans to occupy the new space at 4939 Charles Katz in San Antonio, on or about February 1, 2027. According to the company website UT Health San Antonio, one of the countrys leading health sciences universities, is the leader in south/central Texas funding for the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The universitys schools of medicine, nursing, dentistry, health professions and graduate biomedical sciences have produced more than 33,000 alumni. The $806.6 million operating budget supports four campuses in San Antonio and Laredo, and is the primary driver of its communitys $37 billion biomedical and health care industry.
