Vancouver Washington Metro based Child Logistics, Inc. has secured $1,000,000.00 in new commercial capital.
Ridgefield, WA — Child Logistics, Inc. has secured $1,000,000.00 in new commercial financing for expansion opportunities in Ridgefield. According to the company website, Child Logistics was founded in 2008 by Holly Wren, out of a growing need from her trucking company Child Truck Line. Holly had a heavy background in transportation and had been running the Child Truck line for 9 years. Taking a step back from the 48 states and beginning to focus on the Pacific Northwest, she continued to see her customers needs to ship and receive freight outside of Oregon and Washington. Over the next 5 years, the brokerage grew to 3 brokers and a wide reach across the 48 states. While the brokers continued to extend their reach and abilities to handle higher levels of capacity, there was a gap back in the Pacific Northwest. With a new dispatcher, James Carroll identifying the need for a bridge between trucking and warehousing, Child Logistics warehouse division was born in October 2013 with 30,000 square ft, and quickly jumped to 80,000 square ft over the next 2 months. With James vision to be an all-inclusive warehouse, the repack division was the next step in evolution. Giving the ability to cater to a broader range of customers with both storage/distribution needs but also packaging. James and Michelle Carroll purchased Child Logistics in 2021. Continuing the growth and becoming an industry leader with nearly 400,000 square ft of warehousing with a dedicated space for storage, distribution and repack.
