Wings Special Needs Community to spend $7,000,000.00 to occupy 35,575 square feet of space in Oklahoma City Oklahoma.
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma — According to state and local development sources, Wings Special Needs Community plans to invest $7,000,000.00 to build out 35,575 square feet of new space in Oklahoma City. The company plans to occupy the new space at 1315 E Wilshire Blvd in Oklahoma City, on or about April 1, 2024. According to the company website God created us to support and love one another. He created everyone uniquely. Our job is to recognize our members’ God-given gifts and help them be everything that God designed them to be. It takes a structured and safe program to do that. Through your gifts and volunteer time, we can witness the life change of every member. Each and every day our members are growing toward greater independence and realizing their full potential. In 2002, several families gathered in an Edmond, Oklahoma Sunday School class at Henderson Hills Baptist Church to talk about a problem with no current solution: how do we create an environment that gives our children with developmental disabilities a space where they can learn, grow and find deep meaning in community when they’re adults? Our mission is to enhance the lives of adults with developmental disabilities through social, vocational and residential programs guided by principles of the Bible.
