Fort Wayne, Indiana — According to state and local development sources, YWCA of Northeast Indiana plans to invest $1,836,648.00 to build out 26,400 square feet of new space in Fort Wayne. The company plans to occupy the new space at 1313 Washington Center Rd in Fort Wayne, on or about April 1, 2024. We provide a full continuum of care for victims and potential victims of domestic violence – from prevention education to long-term support after the crisis. This includes our operation of Indianas longest-serving domestic violence Crisis Shelter. We also provide support for the diverse immigrant and refugee communities in Northeast Indiana by providing classes such as Citizenship and English as a Second Language, as well as assistance connecting to local resources such as CANIs Energy Assistance Program.
