Martinsburg, West Virginia — According to state and local development sources, Helsing plans to invest $50 Million to build out space in Martinsburg. The company is creating 60 new jobs at this facility. The company plans to occupy the new space at Martinsburg, on or about July 1, 2027.

According to the company website, We founded Helsing to help protect our democratic values and open societies. The freedom to say what we want to say, and to be who we want to be, is a privilege and it cannot be taken for granted. We believe it is our civic duty to preserve this freedom for us and future generations. Defence has become a software problem. It takes a software-native company to develop the advanced architectures and AI algorithms that protect our democracies. We work with governments and industry partners to transform the capabilities of existing hardware assets and to deploy our own software-defined hardware. Despite being a young company, Helsing has earned the trust of our governments, who now partner with us to deliver significant contracts.
