According to filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, CivilGrid has raised $26,000,000.00 in new Series A funding. The federal securities law requires the notice to be filed by companies that have sold securities without registration under the Securities Act of 1933 in an offering made under Rule 504 or 506 of Regulation D or Section 4(a)(5) of the Securities Act. A company must file this notice within 15 days after the first sale of securities in the offering. For this purpose, the date of first sale is the date on which the first investor is irrevocably contractually committed to invest. Each issuer of securities that sells its securities in reliance on an exemption provided in Regulation D or Section 4(a)(5) of the Securities Act of 1933 must file this notice containing the information requested with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and with the state(s) requiring it. If more than one issuer has sold its securities in the same transaction, all issuers should be identified in this filing with the SEC.
Investors in the company’s current round of funding include: Spark Capital, Energy Impact Partners, Afore Capital, A*, Ford Street Ventures, and SNR Ventures
About CivilGrid
CivilGrid is a civil design intelligence platform that centralizes critical site data into an easy-to-use, collaborative map so engineering and construction teams can better understand the environment they are building in. Drawing on thousands of datasets about underground utilities, land rights, geotechnical conditions, and other site constraints, CivilGrid consolidates this information into a single, real-time map that engineers and planners can access during project planning and design. The company focuses on helping utilities, civil engineers, developers, and public agencies plan and design capital projects faster, safer, and at lower cost by replacing fragmented, manual data-gathering workflows with a unified digital platform. Positioned as a trusted data and mapping layer for infrastructure projects, CivilGrid emphasizes comprehensive, up-to-date site intelligence as a way to reduce risk, avoid costly utility conflicts, and accelerate pre-construction processes. Through this specialized focus on subsurface and environmental context, CivilGrid aims to modernize how infrastructure is planned and delivered across the construction and engineering sectors.
