Walmart plans new $1.3 Billion expansion project in Carnesville, Georgia

Carnesville, Georgia — According to state and local development sources, Walmart plans to invest $1,300 Million to build out 1,500,000 square feet of new space in Carnesville. The company is creating 1,000 new jobs at this facility. The company plans to occupy the new space at Franklin 85 Logistics Center in Carnesville, on or about May 1, 2028.
